Running a studio near Old Street, EC1, gave me the idea of taking a full studio lighting rig to a wedding reception and experiment. It was a remarkable success and surprisingly best suited to chaos rather than order. To maximise its potential, from experience, I always suggest it is positioned close to the heart of the reception so it becomes almost a sideshow in the carnival of the wedding evening.
